Lead Clinician,  Co-Owner 

Marie  has been working in the social service  and educational field for over 15 years in multiple capacities. She has served as a Program Coordinator, Program Manager, College Advisor,  College Counselor, Guidance Counselor, Therapist, and Clinician, Marie is experienced in educational counseling as well as in crisis stabilization, college readiness, school refusal, family therapy, trauma counseling, and working with youth with emotional and behavioral health challenges.

 My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused. I describe myself as positive, compassionate, empathetic, fun, creative, and passionate. I work with adolescents, adults.

I have over 10 years providing therapy and counseling services in both educational and clinic settings. I'm highly experienced in trauma, behavior management, crisis intervention, and stabilization.

Carolyn Mateo is a Licensed Associate Counselor who received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Felician University. Carolyn has over a decade of experience in the filed of Human Services, having worked as a therapeutic house parent, crisis counselor, care manager, case worker and now as a full time clinician. Carolyn currently works with adults as a co-occurring therapist (Substance use and Mental Health), as well as with children and adolescents with behavioral, development and mental health diagnosis.
